Discovering History:
Frugal Frontier Living:
Scarcity, Waste, and the First Recycling Revolution
Friday, August 7, at noon
at the Campus Martius Museum

This immersive museum program uses Marietta’s 1788 frontier history to demonstrate how early settlers lived with minimal waste, contrasted with modern landfill systems and long-term material impact.
Ryan Holter is a Marietta resident teacher and volunteer presenting with a shared passion for local history and a lifelong devotion to environmental education.

This event is sponsored by the Washington County Public Library, is FREE and open to the public, and will be livestreamed/recorded on our YouTube Channel @CampusMartiusMuseum.
